Women’s Ministry
At Christ Baptist, women of all ages are invited into a journey of growth and transformation. The women of Christ Baptist are committed to building a strong community as they pursue full devotion to Jesus Christ as followers, wives, and mothers. Christ Baptist Church Women’s Ministry offers tremendous Bible studies throughout the entire year and fellowship through events that include a Christmas brunch, special receptions, church dinners and more.
We have established several women’s guilds in which you may serve: children’s; new baby; special events; hospitality; missions; food/casserole; grief; speaker; sanctuary decor; encouragement; new member; publicity; and wedding. Saltshakers Ladies Bible Study
Saltshakers Ladies Bible Study meets Tuesdays from September through April. We discuss lessons in small groups, have a brief fellowship time, then gather for a lecture by Sarah Knott. The morning Saltshakers group (9:45-11:30 a.m.) offers a children’s program and homeschool proctoring. Our evening Saltshakers group, also on Tuesdays, meets from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Beginning in Fall 2012, we will study the books of James, Esther, Psalms and Colossians. Registration is required, and begins April 10 for the Fall/Winter semester.
